A lot of my stuff, you'll notice is friends locked. Mainly because I jot down stuff that I only want people that know me well to be able to read. Though in the case that people are curious, here we go:
I'm from the south. I've never really been up north, but hope to travel one day. If anything, throwing yourself into the full time working adult world ought to enable that - or growing up is just a buzz kill as I've always suspected. Who doesn't want to travel?
I should be graduating college soon with a computer information systems associates degree, which means I really don't know shit and won't know shit until I start working. Yes, college is a waste of time and money. The truth hurts.
I tend to be a little bit shyer in person than I am over the internet, but I think that's everyone. But, I'm trying not to hide who I am in general. It's a silly thing to do; people will find out anyway. And I like to know my friends are genuine.
Um.....let's see..likes/dislikes...
I used to be into anime a lot. I still am, but video games have taken over the bigger part of my interests. That and LJ RP. My icons probably speak that in itself. I like to draw. I like listening to music way too much and I enjoy walking to music.
I don't like the winter. I hate being cold. Being hot isn't fun either, but freezing just sucks. And I haven't even been to some of the coldest places. I've never seen snow! I don't like vegetables either - and it's my loss. I'd be healthier if I did. >_> I do like Asian food though and with a passion. I like ice cream too.
I used to read a lot. I still think I would like to read, I'm just picky about what I read nowadays as to when I was younger and just read anything I could my hands on. Animorphs used to consume my life. I liked Everworld too. And I still like Narnia and Lord of the Rings. I used to read a lot of books by Bruce Coville. He's all but forgotten now though. :(
And don't like school. Past a certain point the education system is worthless and I wish we could just all go back to hiring ourselves out to people as apprentices. It seems a lot more logical to me to just learn your trade instead of sitting there letting a university rob you of your money.
But that's me and I'm strange. ^^
